Are images uploaded to a server?
No. UploadReady V1 processes selected images locally in your browser and does not store them.
Will JPG to PNG improve quality?
No. It changes the format but cannot restore detail lost in the JPG.
Why is the PNG larger?
PNG compression is mostly lossless, so photo-like images often become larger.
What formats are supported?
V1 supports JPG, PNG, WEBP and best-effort HEIC/HEIF conversion where your browser and file allow it. PDF tools are intentionally not included in this first image-focused release.
