Are images uploaded to a server?
No. UploadReady V1 processes selected images locally in your browser and does not store them.
Will the file always be exactly 100KB?
No. The goal is to produce a usable file under 100KB. Very detailed photos may need smaller dimensions to stay below the limit.
Why does UploadReady convert to JPG?
JPG is widely accepted by forms and usually reaches small KB targets better than PNG.
What should I do if the result is still too large?
Try adding a smaller width, choose JPG output, or start from a less detailed image.
What formats are supported?
V1 supports JPG, PNG, WEBP and best-effort HEIC/HEIF conversion where your browser and file allow it. PDF tools are intentionally not included in this first image-focused release.
