Are images uploaded to a server?
No. UploadReady V1 processes selected images locally in your browser and does not store them.
Can a high-resolution JPG fit under 100KB?
Often yes, but the browser may need to reduce quality or dimensions. UploadReady shows a warning if the target cannot be met.
Is the original JPG changed?
No. The original file stays on your device. You download a new optimized copy.
Can I keep the original dimensions?
You can leave dimensions empty, but very large images may need shrinking to fit 100KB.
What formats are supported?
V1 supports JPG, PNG, WEBP and best-effort HEIC/HEIF conversion where your browser and file allow it. PDF tools are intentionally not included in this first image-focused release.
