Browser processing
PNG to 100KB
To reliably hit 100KB, PNG files are converted to JPG and transparency becomes white.
Preset values are only a starting point. Adjust the fields above if your upload form asks for a different KB limit, format or size.

Are images uploaded to a server?
No. UploadReady V1 processes selected images locally in your browser and does not store them.
Will transparency be preserved?
No. This preset outputs JPG, so transparent areas are filled with white.
Why not keep PNG output?
PNG is often too large for strict KB limits. JPG usually produces smaller files for photos and screenshots.
Can I choose PNG output anyway?
Yes, but the result may not meet the 100KB target because PNG compression is mostly lossless.
What formats are supported?
V1 supports JPG, PNG, WEBP and best-effort HEIC/HEIF conversion where your browser and file allow it. PDF tools are intentionally not included in this first image-focused release.
