No. UploadReady V1 processes selected images locally in your browser and does not store them.
Is this AI background removal?
No. It removes simple backgrounds by color similarity. Complex scenes need a dedicated AI tool.
Why does it work best on solid backgrounds?
The V1 method samples corner colors, so plain backgrounds produce cleaner results.
Will it cut out people, hair or complex scenes?
No. This is a simple browser tool for solid backgrounds. Complex cutouts need a dedicated AI background remover.
What formats are supported?
V1 supports JPG, PNG, WEBP and best-effort HEIC/HEIF conversion where your browser and file allow it. PDF tools are intentionally not included in this first image-focused release.
